Sowing & growing

Sow sparingly in drills 1cm deep from Mar-Jul, 30cm between rows. The seedbed should be prepared to a fine tilth and be weed free. Can be grown in pots and under glass for a longer cropping season. Thin seedlings after germination to give the individual carrots space to grow. Water regularly.

Aftercare

Keep well-watered until established.. To discourage attack from carrot fly, keep plants covered with fine netting or grow in pots at least 60cm above ground.
