Marrow 'Long Green Bush 4'

Great food producing plant to add to ornamental borders. Eat the fruits young like courgettes, leave to mature for delicious Marrows and enjoy the flowers as a delicacy. With large spiky leaves, trumpet like yellow flowers and gorgeous green fruits, they'll make a real statement in the flower border.

Under cover, sow 2-3 seeds on their edges in individual pots Apr-May. Sow directly outside from May-Jun leaving 60cm between plants. Thin out to the strongest plant per pot/position. If sown under cover, acclimatise plants before planting 60-80cm apart when risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare

Keep plants well fed and watered. A medium sized terracotta pot dug in by the root can be a useful reservoir
