Sowing & growing

Sow directly where they are to grow from March-July in a well-prepared, moist soil. Sow finely in rows 1cm deep, 5cm apart, with 45cm between the rows. Thin out when seedlings are large enough to handle, to 15-25cm apart. Alternatively, sow in modules and plant out as gap-fillers or in containers.

Aftercare

Keep well-watered if conditions are dry. Remove flowers as they develop to prolong the production of fresh leaves.
